INGREDIENTS:
Preperation time :15min Serves: 2
2 cups of water
1/2 tsp Kashmiri green tea or any good green tea
2 green cardamom crushed
1 piece of cinnamon stick
few strands of saffron(kesar)
4 to 5 almonds blanched and chopped
1tbsp sugar
METHOD:
Boil water in a saucepan. Add tea and then add cinnamon, cardamom. Let it boil. Then add in the sugar. U will see a wonderful decoction and then switch off the flame. Now in serving cup put in the blanched chopped almonds in bottom, strain and pour the tea into it. Finish it off with sprinkle of saffron strands and your kahwa is ready. Enjoy this tea sipping and relax.
note:
Kashmiri green tea is easily available in supermarkets, grocery stores, if not getting hand of it just try with any ordinary green tea or you can skip it totally
