Preparation time : 5 min
Ingredients:
Milk 3 cups
Sugar 3/4 cup
Corn starch 2 tbsp
Cocoa powder 2 tbsp
Chocolate cut into bits 1 tbsp
Butter/ oil 1 tbsp
Vanilla essence 2 tsp
Salt a pinch
Method:
1. In a sauce pan stir in sugar,cornstarch, salt and cocoa powder.
2. Put it on stove on medium to low flame. Quickly add 1 cup milk and whisk until its completely dissolved.
3. Add in rest of the milk and keep stirring the liquid until its thickened. ( your spoon should completely coat the liquid) Dont overcook it.
4. Switch off and add the butter or oil, chocolate bits and vanilla essence. Give a good stir.
5. Transfer it immediately into individual glasses and refrigerate upto 2 to 3 hours.
Once its chilled garnish with chocolate shavings or whipped cream. Enjoy
