Butterscotch pudding

*Butterscotch pudding*

*INGREDIENTS:*

1/2 litre milk + 1 cup cold milk
4 tbsp custard powder
5 tbsp sugar
Big handful cashew nuts
1 tsp butterscotch essence
1 banana

*Method:*
Put 1/2 litre milk to boil in a pan. Meanwhile to one cup cold milk add 4tbsp custard powder and butterscotch essence. Whisk it well and keep it ready..
To the boiling milk add few chopped cashew nuts 3 tbsp sugar and let it simmer.
Let's prepare the caramelised cashew. Heat a pan add in 2 tbsp sugar once it starts to melt add in the remaining cashews and  once you find its getting sticky and changing color transfer it into a greased plate and let it cool. Once cooled break it into pieces. Keep this ready. Next To the simmering milk add in custard mix milk slowly. Whisk it well in few seconds the milk will thicken once it has reached desired texture pour it into serving bowl and let it cool down. Once it's cooled down top it will banana slices and sprinkle the caramelised cashew nuts. Refrigerate and serve chilled.

Tip:

You can use butterscotch flavoured custard powder instead of essence.
