Brocolli Pakoda || Brocolli Fritters

Broccoli pakoda/ broccoli fritters
It's hard to resist fried food during Ramadan but we can make it healthier by replacing with better ingredients. So why not broccoli pakora. I am super broccoli person and my family loves them too ❤ Alhamdulillah so I made this delicious fritters which are super crunchy from outside but soft and warm from inside.









Ingredients:
One big broccoli
200 grams gram flour
1 tbsp red chilly powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2tsp baking soda
3 to 4 curry leaves
Water
Oil for frying.

Method:
Clean and cut broccoli into bite size florets. Rinse in warm water and drain completely.

In a mixing bowl add gram flour, salt, spices, chopped curry leaves and soda. Mix well. Now add water slowly and mix generously until you end up a thick pouring batter.
Heat oil in a big wok. On medium flame dip each floret in batter coating all side and add to the oil. Fry on both sides until crisp. Take out in a tissue paper.

Serve with some chutney or cheesy dip.
